Why a maternity program?
At Aaptiv we’re committed to meeting our members where they are. That means providing them with various types of workouts that can be done at home or at the gym. That means creating different levels of workouts—from beginner to advanced. We meet our members’ needs in an individual way so we can positively impact their fitness journeys.
For women, that journey often includes pregnancy. Pregnancy represents one of the most significant periods of change a woman will experience in her entire life, both physically and mentally.
We noticed there was no fitness routine out there that specifically prepares a woman to train her body safely and effectively throughout the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.
Our desire to support pregnant women by providing them with a fitness resource for pregnancy, combined with our greater mission as a fitness company to meet people where they are, drove us to solve that problem with our pregnancy workouts.
More Than Just Pre-natal Yoga
Our program incorporates multiple formats of exercise, different trainers, and methods of training. It uses our signature style of personal one-on-one coaching to give that extra motivation you need to stay healthy and strong during pregnancy.
Train your body safely and effectively through the second and third trimesters of your pregnancy by following this 27-week program—starting on week 13 and concluding on week 40—created by Aaptiv’s pre- and post-natal certified trainers (and fellow moms).
Each week you’ll complete three workouts, which feature a combination of cardio and strength training movements, that are appropriate for the unique physical changes that your body is going through, and will help to prepare your body for labor and delivery.
